Family Academy of Management (FAM) was started by 4 Yale School of Management students during their Innovator course in the Spring of 2017.

They were confronted with a complex problem: how to provide paid family leave for working mothers and fathers. 

Barjdeep, Eric, Michael, and Yinka sought a simple solution: figure out a way to empower businesses to support working families while boosting their brand and bottom line. Balance the scales to keep families upright and steady while enabling companies to see a return on their investment. 

They knew that if they could do the right thing for families by doing right by businesses, then everyone could win.

FAM is an ecosystem that enables parents to take leave to be with their children, rewards business for doing so, provides a global network of families and businesses committed to the cause as well as leadership and innovation development, and equips businesses with the tools to make what is ethical, profitable.
